The King County Iris Society display garden at the Highline SeaTac
Botanical Gardens includes examples of most types of iris. This
display bed, maintained to KCIS volunteers, is also one of the resources
for our rhizome sales in August and September. The best time to visit to
view iris in bloom is in spring, generally April into June. KCIS
also participates in is the HSBG Spring Plant Sale and other events
throughout the summer. Be sure to check out the HSBG website for
more information and excellent directions.
